Intellectual Arbitrage Group to release Next Generation Consultant's Platform
IAG's Business Analysis System and Environment to add Client and Engagement Management features to the next release.

IAG's next release of B.A.S.E. consultant's toolkit will be a major enhancement to the product. Developed in 1993 to support engagement work for IBM Consulting, B.A.S.E. provided consultants both a suite of business analysis tools and an integrated respository for storing engagement data.
After years of updates, IAG announced last year that B.A.S.E. would go through a major rewrite and enhancement to take advantage of the newest technology and management thinking.
The platform once hosted on an Microsoft Access desktop database will now be upgraded to take advantage of the entire Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint Services, and SQL Server. NextGenMC as the project has been called internally will be released in two versions a 1) familar desktop version for Independant Consultants "B.A.S.E.- IC" and 2) a shared services edition "B.A.S.E. -SSE" that will enable large firms, consortiums and consulting networks to share engagement data and backoffice applications.
B.A.S.E.-SSE will be built upon Microsoft's SharePoint and Access 2010 products.
